OK folks so I have received my unconditional acceptance, gotten and returned my packet to Ms Taylor and I am now sitting in Limbo. I wouldn't be too worried about things, except that I am taking off tonight and won't be back in town until around June 8th (Heading to Buffalo to see my brothers graduate, then to MD to look for housing and a job for the wifey, then back to Buffalo to spend a couple days with family, then back to Denver in time to take off for OBC - all driving 😀 )
So far, I have not received my orders in the mail. Nor have I gotten any information regarding getting sworn in (someone said in another thread that you had to be sworn in roughly 10 days before OBC). Can someone please explain to me how this process works from the point that I am currently at. And any info on things that I may have overlooked/not questioned.
If my paper orders aren't here today, can I have them emailed to me? Do I have to get sworn in relatively quickly, and if so, how would I go about it being in my situation? Is there anything else that will be sent to me that is time sensitive and has to be sent back? I just haven't been able to get any solid answers yet, so I figured I'd ask those who have gone/are going through the process.
Thanks for helping my insanity,
JOE
