UT interviews... bringing someone?

So I know there's been talking from all those at UTennessee interviews about bringing someone with them to their interview. Is that the general concensus? My parents aren't close, but would come if I asked, but I dont want to ask unless that what most are doing. Please let me know what ya'll are doing! Thanks!!

Jonny Hart (sp?) told me over the phone that it's encouraged, so it really won't hurt you in any way if you bring your parents. My parents live in different states, but my husband is coming with me.

It is encouraged...but I'm not bringing anyone. My parents are in a different state, and my husband cant get the time off, plus the ticket is extremely expensive (I'm coming from NY) and its not worth it for me spending all that money for one day.
