psychology301-Juan Salinas

Mind telling us which ones 311 and 206 are? (i.e.- 311= cell bio, 206=intro Bio)?

sorry bout that

311 is biology functions and organisms and the lab is 206. Im worried about the professor, not the class in general

Colapret=boring but great online notes so it didn't matter. I thought class was easy but only ~10% got As.

I hear the bio lab is getting harder and is a bitch.

I took 205L and when I took it was less difficult. I hear there's now a final practical and a couple midterm practicals. Enjoy that.

Did not take 311d.

ah i did not know about this

is bio eng hard? i kinda wanted to transfer into it next semester

Not really, it's the engineering with the most grade inflation. If you're bad at math don't do it though.

i dont think i am bad at math, i just only went up to algebra 2 in hs so i am working my way up to upper division math. Im actually very good at math once i learn it

Texas or Tennessee?

Mack Brown sucks, though. 🙂 (Football related if unaware) Haha

But not as much as the last few Tennessee coaches. Or has Tennessee won a national championship since 2005? (That was a football related slam if unaware) Haha

Yo guys, I love sports but let's keep this thread on topic por favor

hey OP, don't you think it would be of much more worth to you to maybe ask some of the older pre-meds at your school. Get involved and meet some if you don't know any (pre-med frat, research, anything). The "active" SDN pre-allo community is much smaller then you probably think. At UG we all got senior pre-med "mentor," which i became when i was a senior and I still answer questions that they email me regarding things like this.

Not to take over this thread but do any of you know a place in Austin that allows premed students to shadow? I've been looking for a while now and still havent been able to find any. a friend told me about a place that takes a lot of premeds and medical students but she couldnt remember the name or where its located. would any of you happen to know what this place is called???

I like colapret, but the class is entirely self taught. i didnt take bio 311, and the lab is getting harder. My room mate complained of all the stuff he had to do for it. I on the other hand lucked out when I took it 2 years ago. From what I gathered, he has to do way more work than I did back then.

Health professions seminar friday 2-3 in welch basement. They set up ER shadowing. I plan to ask the ER doctor if he/she knows anyone else to shadow.
