just a heads up--in case anyone else was confused by it being "grayed out" on the programs tab of ERAS, the Univ of Utah does not have a spot this year (for july 09). they are part of ERAS, but their PD/secretary just told me (via email) that they arent taking anyone b/c they took two last time around.

and as a side note: can people stop posting brash remarks on here when someone asks a redundant question! this is a message board open to all. not everyone out there lives to search the thread history. if you dont like a question, I would politely suggest that you simply dont resond to it.

Obviously by "people" you mean me.

There is a wealth of information posted on this board. The vast majority of applicants use this board when they need it and abandon it once they enter residency. However, there are a number of dedicated users (e.g. radonc, SimulD, Thaiger, Adawaal . . . and stephew of course!) who regularly contribute well into their residency.

I would suggest that you spend an extra few seconds to look up old posts, the SDN search engine is quite good. You don't need to "live" to search the thread history. If you didn't get an answer you wanted, so be it. Post and we will do our best to help you.

However, if people continue to ask redundant questions I will still be happy to post an appropriate link. After all, I have no life and am pleased to perform this public service free of charge . . . :meanie:
