guys.....i got one from here as well.....it kinda clashes with my UOP dates..coz it is on 26th & 27th Oct. .....but i requested them to postpone it and now they are interviewing me on 9th & 10th Nov...

Congrats on your interview call from UTHSCSA.... looks like you are there all over the park....i.e., attending interviews at all the schools.... and when you get selected everywhere, you will need to scratch your head a bit 😕 in deciding where you would want to join.....🙂 :laugh:

Congrats !!! And Good Luck , I Got An Email From Them Yesterday Saying My App Is Complete So My Fingers Are Crossed As Of Now I Only Have An Interview On The 24th At Rochester , Did They Notify You By Phone Or Email? And Please Post How It Went And All Thanks Again God Bless
 
I applied like 2 or 21/2 weeks back but they had not recd my TOEFL scores...so had to order them twice....my packet was complete only 4 days back when they recd the TOEFL....

today barbara emailed me in the afternoon about the invitation

It is a new progrom just start from 2007.

I did get a call from Barbara Friday and I will have my iterview on Nov 9-10th.
I am still waiting for the mail informations because She told me that she will sent it trough the mail.

I applied back in mid September.No she did not mentioned anything about the exam but that she will send me a mail with all the informations.

please elaborate, which school is UTHSCSA .Do they have a new program for international dentist.
 
till now only two got interview call. may be there are some more who have got call from UTHSCSA but not writing here.:laugh:

i am also waiting. got mail that my application in complete thats it.

I have a question: I wonder if they will really let the candidates do some written test about the essay during the interview, just as what they state on their website? Are these questions base on personal statement?
Will it be typing on the PC, or just on handwriting?
I am looking forward to you reply.

Hello everybody, I am also invited for an interview, but I have no idea about the written and practical tests, has anybody already been there? I haven't touch the handpiece for almost two years and I am so nervous about the test.

I have applied to UTHSCSA too. I got an email saying that ur file is complete. I have not yet been called for interview. I was bit worried.

I was just wondering whether all those who were called for UTHSCSA interview were Texas residents or is there someone from out of state also. Bcoz I also applied and didn't hear from them . So, anyone who got intrview call can throw some light what is their preference.

I am in the same boat..... I have not yet received interview and I am not from texas. May be thats the reason just like florida?

I had sent an email to them with a query regarding the application.

I received an email stating that out of state residents are eligible to apply.

I am not in TX, I got an interview, and my stats are not outstanding at all, maybe it was just my luck😳

I have been called for an interview at San Antonio too on 16th/17th Nov, anyone else going then?

If it helps, I'm also not a TX resident and don't have outstanding stats either so I don't think that makes a difference.

Does anyone know anything about the written component?

May I request you all to let us know whether you all have a US citizenship or Green Card ? Or have any of you with a non-citizen / non-green card status (i.e, with a H4 or F4 or B1 or B2 etc . status) got an interview call ?

I am a Tx resident..My application was complete long back...I didnt get a call🙁
I guess most of them who got calls were non Tx residents..

Has someone already been interviewed?..We all would appreciate if anyone already interviewed could write in a few lines...Also the tuition for non Tx residents is somewht more than TX residents..So, I feel they will look for out of state candidates 1st?..Am not sure about this..just a feeling.

Does anyone know for sure as to how many of those called for interviews are Tx residents?
I dont see anyone mention heir stats or anything in this thread tht will atleast help us know wht the actual scene is. I guess we all have to just wait.
