I am doing an elective in the Ob department at UTMB Austin in August and I know very little about the program, vibe, etc. Does anyone have any advice on what working there is like? Whether I could find a place to live near the hospital or if I should stay with friends about 5 miles away and bike? Whether my fiance can come visit me for a weekend and actually see me?
