It's a case of cervical trauma. UW states that cervical stabilization is done BEFORE airways!! Is this correct? I doubt!

In the real world, these things are done simultaneously, but the point of the question was that his ABC was compromised, so thats why intubation was necessary. But it is important that stabilization be done ASAP in any suspected case of cervical trauma.
