so i've been doing some UW questions & it seems there's tons of biochem!! I thought biochem wasn't that high yield. is this emphasis on biochem really representative of the exam?
i actually was thinking the same thing last night. i also heard that compared to the kaplan questions, the usmleworld biochem questions are brutal. can anyone who has experience with both qbanks refute or agree with this? thanks
Biochem is indeed on the boards. However, it is tested mostly in the form of clinical application (vitamin deficiency, enzyme deficiency, etc.) and not in the form I've seen on some test banks (like fill in the blank mechanisms).
