When you take the UW Diagnostic Exam, do you have the option of reviewing the questions that you missed?

Is the world assessment exam fairly close to estimating your step II score? I heard from some it underestimated and some it over estimated. Can people please give me your feed back on world assessment score and compare it to your step II score?

I scored 38 points higher on the real thing than I did on the UW SA, but that was after a month of studying. I do think the UW exam was a little bit of an underestimation even at the time I took it based on my performance on the UW qbank, but can't say for sure.

Hey just fyi. I emailed them (UW) with the same question a month ago and this is what they told me. Even though the scores cannot be used to predict the real score, they've seen people score somewhere in the +/- 10 of their UWSA with in 7 days of the SA administration with greater variability beyond 7 days. I had a 510/220 9 days before the test and ended up with a 230 on the real test. Hope it helps.

Oh by the way, I actually have not seen anyone drop from their UWSA score. Everyone I talked to got 10 or even 20 points higher on the actual USMLE. Good luck!

I got a 630/245 on the UW sim exam, test is a week away. Was aiming for a 260+ ideally 265+. Do u think I should push the date back. What kind of an improvement can I expect from 2 weeks.

is it an option somewhere while running the program or do you have to go to a website...?

You can't miss it when you sign up for UW, they offer it at a discounted rate when bought in combination with the qbank. I you already have the qbank, you can buy it separately. Its all on the UW website, as one might imagine.

Nobody can tell you how much you'll improve in 2 weeks. If you think you will brush up on some high yield stuff and improve in a week, then go for it. It is doubtful but not impossible that you would score 265 a week after scoring 245 on the UWSA. After 2 weeks there is obviously a greater possibility that you would score 265, but there are never any guarantees when you are talking about a high score like that. You could study for a year and if you aren't a good test taker, you probably won't score 265.
