UW interview!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I really like the school - it's my first choice school so I would reaaaally love to get accepted. The interviewers were also really nice. After the interview, it's a pretty laid back day because you have the stress of the interview over with.

i love how nobody wants to upload their interview feedback to SDN. Course, I won't do it till I am accepted. 19k a year for in-state tuition? I'm not gonna help anybody take that away from me.

The interview was way chill, so just relax and be yourself. They told us that the two doctors who interview will represent you before a committee so they are on your side. As for down time there was a little bit, about an hour after everyone got there. At that time people are being taken out one at a time for interviews. You meet in a small room so if everyone just does homework and doesn't talk it can feel a bit awckward. Later on you get a short tour by current dental students and can ask them questions. Some of the deans came down for an open question session as well, but they seemed kinda in a hurry. Anyway its a great school, enjoy.

i got my first interview!!! I received an email from uw today and am scheduled for Nov. 23. It is odd to others that my email was so late? has any one else just been notified for an interview? My aadsas status has not changed either.

Are you in-state?

Is it true that UW does not accept as many students as other schools in December?
I am desperately waiting for UW interview since it is my first choice...
really stressed out and I did search the forum but I was not able to find this information.
Anyone?

It true. They only give out a handful of interviews in December and they wait until Mid-January to fill up about 1/2 of the class. It sucks.

Considering half the class is about only 30 people, that kind of really sucks. I was so looking forward to dec 1....

anybody heard from UW recently?... still waiting...

Hey guys,

Do I need to send my official transcripts to UW along with the secondary application?
Thanks.

I had my interview on first week of interview and got rejection letter with heading (Rejection/non-interviewed WA).
Is this the really rejection letter?
I mean i had interview, so shouldn't it say rejection/post-intervied wa? or something like that?
hmmm.. I must give them a call.

It should be a mistake if you interviewed..thats weird!

Yeah especially if it's an email, it could likely be a mistake..

They're sending out rejections for interviewed people already?? Omg! I'm not going to check the mail anymore.

is it only to non-interview WA resident applicants?

I think so, I'm not sure if they are giving out rejections already for interviewed applicants..

DId you mean handful of acceptances? I'm really anxious to hear back from them..but they seem a little slow in the application process..
