I have applied to WU but I didnt hear from them.
Do you have any idea how many students do they accept ??

Yes,they send application complete confirmation.
They have 4 seats for IDDP.
 
Isn't it called the UWIDDS, I applied as well and still waiting for the invite to the 3 day interview

I don't think so!! There deadline was aug 7.. I it's to soon to call for interview🙂
 
they have already sent the invites for interviews scheduled on 20,21,22 and 27,28,29.

Comrades, I am new to this forum! I got an interview call about 10 days back and have scheduled my interview for 27-28-29! Any one else in the same slot? or may be before?

somebody plz do write about ur interview experience and guide the rest of us
 
Interview is pretty easy!! they just want to know more about you!! For the bench test, they will tell you everything in the practice session about the procedures and how to do it!! and you will have plenty of time to practice all the exercise.

They also asked about your CV, work experiences and possible research experience

Can you plz tell me the cost of practice session n how to enroll for that.. also, do they explain you the procedure and instruments they will be providing during the bench ?
 
With the invitation letter you must be receiving information about the practice session!! Together i guess it is for $500. $300 for the bench test ans $200 for the practice session. But make sure with Ms. Brock about this. The session last 4 hours. It is usually on the first day (morning session) of 3 days interview and test. I hope this helps. Basically they explain everything. Information will be given about how handle certain material and instrument if you have never used it before.
 
As dphvj said, all information should be sent to you with invitation letter. Not only the price, but all the procedures you have to do in 2-day bench exam.

thanks alot for all the info guys ... i did get the details of bench exam in email but not about the practice session.
 
So we have to wait till Oct 4th. I really like the University of Washington. The invitations and everything were more organized than USC, UOP... Just 10 applicants in each session, paying more attention to them rather than +100. But the bad thing is just 4 seats for international dentists. 🙁
 
They accept 5 out of 30 interviewees. See you on the 26,27 & 28th !
 
I guess on 3rd. but i saw someone has written 4th in this forum.. when did u give ur interview??
 
Is there anybody who has been interviewed UW this week? I was interviewed in August. I think they will notify us on October 4th, but I am not sure. The guys who have been interviewed this week could give more precise info....

🙁 HATE THIS WAITING PHASES 🙁(
According to the UW website: "After the interview/skills testing phase of the application process, and upon receiving an official letter of acceptance, applicants selected for the UWIDDS class starting in 2012 are required to respond to the acceptance letter by the deadline reply date."
I am not sure if they notify applicants via e-mail before sending official letter or not!!!
 
I wish there was more that I/we could do. We can only wait-palpitate-meditate.
 
Just received the rejection email!! Dummmmmmmm 🙁
