Today USMLE World did a software change that makes the resolution set at 1024 X 768, putting my eyes in the ice age of blurriness when viewing the test/explanations. There seems to be no way around this. Plus I have to adjust my screen resolution each time so that the screen isn't tiny with black edges. Plus I need to do a lot more scrolling now.

This is a big pain. UWorld obviously did this because they are more worried about protecting their questions from getting stolen by people taking single screenshots on high resolution screens vs. the ease and effectiveness of our study. Anyone else facing this problem? Any solutions?

No solution. Get used to that resolution, because that is exactly what you are going to see on the real thing.

yeah but during the real thing, we also don't have answers with explanations that we are learning from. Learning on a crummy monitor/resolution doesn't help me better prepare.

Also, the real thing is timed and randomized by subject, but we have the option to do the questions untimed and by subject. Should UWorld also take this away from us to force us to study how they think is best?
