Trying to figure this out. I have been using UWorld for at least a few weeks now, and a few days ago, the "Neurology" check box became greyed out. It still gets a check when I select "Select ALL Sub Divisions," but it's not individually clickable.

Only thing I can think of is I think I tried to copy and paste something while UWorld was running in a Neuro question bank. Could this be some sort of protection UWorld put in place?

This may sound really dumb (and may not be your problem), but I had something similar happen with UWorld with one of my subjects (it was repro for me but same idea). It turns out that I had finished all of the questions in that subject bank, and there's a slight bug in the software. This is a little odd to explain, because it's a software bug, but here goes:

By default, the question bank you're using is "unused" questions rather than "All" (both used and unused). If you click on "Select all main divisions" while you have the "unused" question box highlighted, any category for which you have completed all the questions will be grayed out. However, if you then change the question set to "all", it will still be grayed out -- this is a bug. In order to get the check box back (and be able to select those questions), you have to un-select the "select all main divisions box" and then change your question bank to "all", then re-select the "select all main divisions." That should make the box clickable -- again, it just appears to be a software bug that you can work around, but it is annoying.

This may totally be a different problem than you're having, so if so I apologize for a very long, irrelevant response. Good luck!

Amazing! That did it for me.

This works for subdivisions of a main division too... e.g. if you've used up Pharmacology>Endocrinology questions. Simply just uncheck and recheck the division (ie. Pharmacology in the example above) to get back the questions you've finished.
