uworld is not launching....anyone else having this problem???

Try installing again, all your progress is saved.

Strange thing is, I can't see to uninstall the program. this goes for both the exam and the qbank.

If you just click on the install icon, it will do it again.

You don't need to uninstall first.

I tried going to the website and clicking (is that what you mean?)...this does not work either. could this be a laptop problem? nothing else seems to be wrong.

When you originally dowloaded the program from the website, didn't it create an icon called "QBankClient1" ?

Try clicking that.

I dont think I've seen that. Did a search and didnt come up anywhere either.

Could a bug do this? perhaps, an anti-step1 bug? gah.

I discovered what the problem was. Apparently, the anti-virus is doing something to disable the program (I guess it's not really a good program if it took 4 weeks to detect the "bug". haha) Found help on the WORLD website. Thanks for the help cliff and rahul!

I believe that only happens when the program can't connect to the internet. Your AV blocking it from phoning home would be a good reason for this error.
