I found a q today dealing with psoriasis on uworld and it asked for the tx for psoriasis. I remember reading somewhere in FA that methotrexate is a tx so I went with that. the actual answer was calcipotriene a vit d analog. Going over the answers didn't help much bc it said that not only can calcipotriene be use to tx but also cyclosporine and methotrexate. So what made calcipotriene the right answer :bored:

Was it asking topical vs systemic treatment? Any info in vignette about pt's PMHx given methotrex's significant side effects/toxicity?

just realized it asked for the medication that activated anuclear transcription factor so I can see why now.. doing qs I realize I miss the important key words uhh :boom:
