For a score in the 230's i've heard very rough estimates that a USMLE World q-bank cumulative percent correct somewhere around 65% would be good.

I'm three days into my study schedule (take the test on June 25th), and have a question about USMLE World Q-bank. I've been doing 2 tests per day, 48 questions each, plus a test with just the questions i got wrong from the day previous.

At current, I usually get 55% correct on the tests with questions i haven't seen before for the subject I'm studying right now (biochem). And then when i take the quiz the next day with just the ones I missed I can usually get 75-80% correct.

Is this similar to yalls experiences? I'm kind of using UWorld as as study guide while i go through it, but I don't see any way in the world I'll be able to take a random, comprehensive, 48 question test at the end of my study period and be able to get 70% correct at this rate.

I think a 65% would probably get you at least to the top end of the 230's. I was landing in the high 50's and low 60's for my pharm UWorld tests and rocked what would be probably just shy of a 250 on Step 1 (91st percentile, approximately) in that subject's shelf. If you can hit 65%, you'll be in fantastic shape if your goal is 230+.

Is that 65% total average or averaging 65% near the end?

I definately saw improvement with my uworld scores doing them in study period so I think you will too if you're going over everything. Over 15 days(that's all I used it for so a little concentrated...), I jumped roughly 20% from first day to last day. I did them all random, timed 48s, no repeats.

Yeah, it's varied between 84-85 the whole time (40% done, timed, random), but my NBMEs were not that high (obviously), so it seems a bit inflated to me.
