UWorld Self Assmt #2 Average

[For those that can't get enough statistics]
I took the time to calculate the avg score for the UsmleWorld Self Assensment #2 test:

Block 1: 62.3%
Block 2: 61.8%
Block 3: 56.7%
Block 4: 59.7%

Total: 60.1%


my avg over the 4 blocks: 59%
my "predicted score": 214

I know I know... I still haven't decided between derm and plastics 😕

I got mauled on that exam but I took it a month out before my hardcore studying began:

BLock 1: 60%
block 2: 60%
block 3: 39% (WTF!!! 🙁)
block 4: 54%

overall 53.25%

score: 201


im taking my second practice test on friday (NBME 6) and i better do better lol.. ill only be 3 weeks out by then.

I just took it today and it basically destroyed my confidence. I did all 4 sections then did 3 times blocks of 48 from the Q bank to try and simulate the real thing. The self assessment put me at a 221 and my average % from the 3 blocks was a 65%, together coming out to ~63%. I feel like crap after taking it. I only have one week until my exam and I'm shooting for a 235. Did NBME 6 yesterday and got a 220 on it. I guess we'll have to see if I can pull through in these next 7 days.

your 65% on the other 3 blocks is way higher than a 220.. dont let it get you down too much.. you can do it!!

Which one would you guys say is more difficult, 1 or 2? I'm asking because if I am going to take one the week before my exam, I'd prefer it not make me completely lose hope.

I got a 184 on SA1 after my first pass (sans pharm) and then 10 days later a 214 on SA2.

I'd like to think in those 10 days I solidified what I had learned - did this by reading FA slowly and meticulously. Also did a butt load of UW questions (about 150 a day)

SA2 came much easier for me - but I'm pretty sure it's mostly because I was in bad shape 2 weeks ago.

Taking the real thing in 10 days... so at this rate I should get a 244, right?

1 is harder than 2, mostly because there is more bs questions on 1 than 2. NBME 6/7 are the most similar to the step.

I'm wondering if I should even bother taking 1 at all.. i changed my plan to take NBME on fri instead of UWSA 1 .... i feel like 1 risks wrecking my confidence even more at this point.

Block 1 - 75%
Block 2 - 70%
Block 3 - 79% - Was super surprised! I'd heard this block was brutal.
Block 4 - 56% - Ouch. Not even stupid mistakes, just stuff I flat out didn't know.

Avg - 70% = 238.

Totally a good score, but my score went down from UWSA 1 which makes me nervous. Whatever my score, I just want to be consistent. I've got 9 days until my exam though, and I'm taking NBME 6 tomorrow.
