If Velocity remains the same...what is the relationship between F and WL?
I thought the relationship was linear however apparently its not? Can someone explain why? As F decreases, WL will increase proportionality and visa versa. Shouldn't this be a linear relationship?

shouldn't the line just be a straight diagonal since V remains constant?? It F increases...WL should decrease the same amount in order to keep V constant.

You're right that they are reciprocally related, but that relationship produces the plot in the link I posted which is clearly not linear. y = 1/x is analogous to f = v/wl when v is constant.
I think you might be mixing up y = -x (linear) and y = 1/x (not linear), I have made this same mistake before
