In the standard EK bio review book, they say specifically for those scoring >10 that the 1001 is not for you. Any truth to that? For a 12 diagnostic, will 1001 be a waste of time?

Doesn't look like it man. It's all critical thinking and POE and base knowledge.Where can one learn of these strategies you speak of?
I am using Ek and TPR and thus far have not come across any strategies that are beyond raw common sense (finish on time, read the passage, eliminate obvious incorrect answer choices, etc). Is there a resource for these strategies? So far I feel like I've jsut been reading textbooks and I know the MCAT goes beyond that.
thanks

Don't take a diagnositc too seriously, there is way too much info out there in Bio for you to assume one test is representative of all of the tests. In the standard EK bio review book, they say specifically for those scoring >10 that the 1001 is not for you.
