Hey, so i keep seeing on interview feedback on SDN for vandy med that ppl researched their interviewer. how do you know who that is? i have gotten info for my interview but it just says hey your interview is on this day and and at this time and do you have food prefs. nothing about my interviewer, is there gonna be another letter that comes and says this? also, anyone interviewing with me on the 11th ie next monday?

I was sent an email a few days before the actual date with my Interviewer's biography. Also, I am sure they wouldnt mind sending you a biography if your Interviewer...just call them and ask them. They should atleast be able to tell you who you are interviewing with. Hope that helps!

yup they send you a biography close to the time of your interview.

In my case, in addition to getting the email with his biography near interview time, when I logged on to the website where I did the secondary, the name of my interviewer was posted.

If I were you I would check the website, as it should already be on there.

eurozo and everyone above thanks for the help. i looked on the website and it had my interviewer but when i clicked the link for bio she apparently didn't fill out any info....man, what a letdown.

I would google her. Almost all doctors have some information about them online. I found out way more about my interviewer just searching online then Vandy supplied in their bio. Also, go to pubmed.org and you can what subjects she has written papers on. Best of luck.

i checked my interviewer online just now on the status page, and i too had the same problem with a blank profile. but i think its just a problem with that particular link, because when i searched his name in the vanderbilt faculty search, i got the same page completely filled out with research interest, faculty position, etc....

try that out or access the biography through the departmental web page.
