Hey all,
I'm new to the forum but already sense the community here. It's definitely great to see such conversation among those striving to become pharmacists, and those such as me just trying to get it!

My question is for those already in school:

How different is the curriculum and class structure compared with undergrad? IS it difft. for every school, which I assume it might be? Only trying to see what I am in for!

I've noticed on the other forums they have a comprehensive interview section....is the Pharmacy Forum ever going to have this

Also, if there is rolling admissions at various schools, and I submit a month before the deadline...do I still have a good chance at an interview, specifically University of Arizona?

Feel free to answer any of the above questions, anyone!

Good luck to all those applying!

Question 1: Its different depending where your from. I went to a community college where my biggest class was 40 and the mean was about 20. Currently, im in a class of 68 and we are in the same classroom all day with rotating professors. The only place where I can imagine where it would be different is Las Vegas because of their block schedule set up, but again I don't know.

Question 2: You dont nearly have as good a chance if you were to wait than doing it NOW. The earlier you apply the better your chances because rolling admissions basically means they keep accepting people till the class is full. Now, not every school is like that. For example, I applied to West Virginia (take me home...country road...wes....nevermind) They wait till after their deadline to make a decision to interview candidates. Basically, moral of the story, you need to apply early to ANY school that has early admission or you may get burned. Hope this helps!
