The University of South Florida Stroke Program has an ACGME-accredited vascular neurology fellowship position available for a qualified applicant.

The fellowship is based at Tampa General Hospital, a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center and a State of Florida-Designated Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Stroke Program has two vascular neurologists and a multidisciplinary stroke team who provide comprehensive acute stroke care in the Emergency Department, Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit and Stroke Unit. Close working relationships exist with Emergency Medicine, Neurosurgery, Diagnostic/ Interventional Neuroradiology, Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine, Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Rehabilitation and Epidemiology. The fellow will rotate on the Vascular Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, MICU and Rehabilitation Services.

The fellow will participate in ongoing clinical trials and develop an independent research project. The University of South Florida offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Applicants must be board eligible and have successfully completed or be completing an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency training program. Candidates should send the following information to the address provided below:

3. Copies of USMLE's (for DO's copies of Comlex)
4. Copy of Medical School diploma
5. Copy of Neurology Residency Certification -- if currently in a Residency Program, letter from your Program Director stating you are in good standing.
6. Copies of transcripts. For IMG's, will need a copy of ECFMG certificate (IF YOU ARE ON A VISA, PROGRAM CAN ONLY SPONSOR J1 VISA'S)
7. Three (3) letters of recommendation (Program Director letter counts as one of these letters)
