I keep getting confused over these two. Here's what I know, please correct me if I'm wrong:
Vasoconstriction decreases blood flow, increase blood pressure, and it is used to retain heat during cold temps.
Vasodilation increases blood flow, decreases pressure and it is used to cool down during hot temps.
Does this make sense?
Also, when arteries branch into arterioles, does the pressure increase or decrease?
