Hi everyone,

I am extremely excited about the new VCOM campus, however, I am afraid of potentially being a part of an inaugural class.

Can anyone comment their thoughts?

I applied because why not? I'm personally not worried about being part of an inaugural class. VCOM isn't a new school, it's just a new campus. Granted there might be some hiccups, but what inaugural class doesn't? So in short, I don't think it's such a bad idea to be an inaugural class 🙂

Thanks 🙂 I am afraid of not having an older class to seek guidance from. Also, the hiccups as well haha.

ACOM supposedly is taking over all AMEC rotation sites for its students. If you go to this school, don't count on staying nearby after your 2nd year. I will be curious to see where VCOM will be placing its ~1,000 3rd/4th year students once all its campuses are running.

I'll almost certainly be applying here (my goals are very much in line with VCOMs mission). There was a great thread from a while ago about the pros and cons of being part of an inaugural class. It's definitely going to be a bumpy ride, but I'm up for the challenge (assume that a) I get in and b) I decide to go here).
