I must certainly say, VCOM impresses me more and more every day. I received a, "Good luck on the MCAT" email from Ms. Price this afternoon. I'm sure they sent it to everyone registered for the August MCAT, but that is just amazing.

😍 VCOM.

Let's hope I do well enough to get in. 😀

that was pretty cool. I must say some of these school are pretty tough to compete with!!

Yes, it is hard not to be very impressed with this school's attention to it's applicants! If the other departments are as focused and behind the students as admissions it may become my first choice school.
They have always responded immediately to my inquires. They have called me twice (once to tell me they were there should I need anything answered and a second time to tell me they want to interview me) and even emailed me to tell me one of my letters had arrived. Would you believe I wrote an email to two other schools concerning this and have not heard back yet?

Anyway, ya... I appreciate them. Does anyone know if they require lecture attendance?

YES and NO.......attendance is manditory, with that being said, We usually have around 80% come to class when there is not something due. However, most of the time we have a clinical case quiz(real simple) due at the end of lecture. So its strategic skipping if you don't want to come. But in the end I still feel that I'm paying 30K i'm going to get 30K's worth of material.
