VCU Interview Question

For those of you who have recieved an interview invite from VCU. I was just wondering how long your file was complete before you recieved notification that you had recieved an interview. Also was the notice sent via snailmail, e-mail, or phone call. Thanks for the help.

On there website there is a page that mentions that they recieve around 4000 applications each cycle but only send secondaries to around 2000. This is what they say, but for some reason I find that hard to believe. If that is the case then that makes our chances of getting an interview that much greater. I want an interview!!!

lord - at this point im takin' baby steps and just want to be complete!! my stuff was all sent in weeks ago but my lors still dont show on the status page. and no one over there seems to reply to emails. humpf.

I'm in the same exact boat. I emailed them last week and once this week and no replies. Everythign else is in, but I'm wondering if I should call them since my school mailed the my recs like 2.5 weeks ago. I hate this waiting process.

i think im going to bite the bullet and call them.... i get nervous with the schools that more or less say 'dont call us, we'll call you' - like if we do they'll put a black mark on our apps.... but at the same time they say to give them 3 weeks and by friday it will be!

I sent my secondary back on 8/9 and my LOR's went out about the same time, receiving the invite on 9/8. I think my official complete date was 8/24.

same exact boat here too...been waiting for those LOR's to show up on the status page for like weeks.

I gave them a call up today, and the lady was really nice.My school sent out the recs 3 weeks ago but she said they prolly were not entered into the computer yet, and that they would most likely show up on my status page by the end of the week. She said they have been really backed up because of last week's hurricane.
