Yeah I understand that, but I was confused because it seemed like ALL interviewees who weren’t offered an acceptance would be offered a waitlist invite, so no rejections. I asked for some clarification and this was the response I got.
“There will be no rejection emails sent until most seats are filled.
These will likely be sent out in waves because of our large applicant pool.”
I understand not everyone will accept an offer, but it also seems a bit strange that they aren’t rejecting anyone who interviewed. It makes the “waitlist” feel less like you are actually on the waitlist.
