I interviewed there about 2-3 weeks ago, and had 4 virginians out of 10 people.

total 4 I believe (including myself). Others were from afar. Good group, well rounded, very personable. Stiff competition. Interviewers kind and straightforward.

so, it is like 4 out of 10 people are virginian, thats wierd b/c i know VCU interviews less then 100 virginians and acceptance rate is over 75 percent for a cycle.

and there are about 20 interview dates before december 1, which means about 70-80 virginian will be interviewed there before december 1. hmmmmmmmmmm....

was thinking the very same thing myself. Who did your interviews? I had a prosthodontist and pathologist. Both were down to earth and struck me as quite intelligent.

VCU generally goes for people from rural areas of VA (anywhere other than Northern Virginia). Don't be offended if you're a Virginian from the northern part of the state and don't get love from VCU. They are looking for people who will be culturally fulfilled in a rural area.

I went back and reread your post. I'm under the impression that they only interview 2 days per week as stated by office admin - thus leaving a smaller batch of VA folk than you were thinking.
