Pros sc:
-In state
-Program eases into subject matter
-Student body seemed greatly nice as well as profs
-in a great location
-cheaper than oos and houses all residencies

Con sc:
-less known of a program it seems like
-smaller portion of class specializes

Pro vcu
-great program
-100% board pass rate
-64% of class specializes

Cons vcu
-expensive since oos
-Richmond isn’t Charleston lol

Seeming like I’m going with MUSC. Just wanted to hear opinions

Your instincts are right! MUSC! Save Your money! Plenty of people specialize from MUSC…anyway, you will determine if you get to specialize or not.

I don't see much of a difference between the two schools from your description. Tie goes to in-state tuition.

MUSC isn't really "less known," it may just seem that way because they don't accept many OOS students. If your goal is to practice in SC, your decision shouldn't be too hard.
