Verbal Question

Hello All:

Given that the verbal section is 40 questions, generally how many reading passages would this break down into? Or approximately how many questions does each passage carry?

Please resist the urge to flame or be pedantic, I just need to get a very rough idea of how many reading passages are on the verbal section for my study strategy. Thanks.

Most of the Kaplan tests I've utilized have had 6 passages with 6-8 questions per passage. I haven't taken any AAMC Practice Tests yet, but I can't imagine they'd be too different.

When I took the MCAT in January, it was 7 passages. I think. If I remember correctly. I'm getting old, who knows anymore?
