Ok it seems like i get all the main idea questions right in verbal.

However, I keep missing quite a few questions despite that. I was wondering if this main idea thing is really as useful as it sounds?

it definitely is still really useful. it helps you get an idea of the other, more difficult questions like inference and exception ones.. make sure you're getting the whole view of the author.. his opinions and stuff.. these passages seem so dynamic and not just one focus..

Ok...I tried something different today...

GS verbal 1 = 8
GS verbal 2 = 9
GS verbal 3 = 8
------
Today: GS verbal 4 = 11

I think I have to understand not only the main idea, but perhaps the role of the paragraphs in the main idea?

How it affects it and such? Also I dunno if this is reflective since this is GS?

I do the same and while it is a very effective method, it is also very time consuming.

I'm still trying to figure out the best VR method. It seems like the consensus is EK's the best?
