Big part of my childhood, but is it something worth mentioning in secondaries? I want to include and how thats made me the person i am today, but I don't want to sound like an unappreciating whiner with daddy problems.. any opinions?

This can be very tricky. If you can describe it in one sentence of 20 words or less and devote the rest of the essay to what you did, what you learned, what lesson you take away from overcoming a difficult childhood and how this relates to your career plans or life plans or how it relates to the way you will relate to verbal bullying by fellow trainees, superiors or disgruntled co-workers or patients then you are golden.
