Verification and all the red x's

Hi guys. Just wondering how long it takes for them to get your app verified and how do you know? I know it says 4-6 weeks but I just wanted to hear what you guys say. I just sent it in 2 weeks ago, kinda late I know, but still a month and a half ahead of the deadlines for my schools. Thanks for the response!

I think most of the time delays are for people who submitted way early. It'll probably be within 4-6 weeks, perhaps even earlier (I know someone who submitted three weeks ago, and already has red x's). You'll know it's being verified because you'll see these red X's along the left side of the first page of your application online. You'll know it's done when you can see a Processed date in the top right corner of the print version. AMCAS should also be emailing you, but I wouldn't count on it.
