Verification, July submission

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
As of July 7 AMCAS is:

Marking electronic transcripts as "Received" that were delivered on June 29 and paper transcripts as "Received" that were delivered on June 25.
Processing applications that reached "Ready for Review" on June 11.
Not sure what answer you are looking for, no one can predict the future. Atleast 4 weeks probably

I don’t think anyone can answer your question with accuracy. It’s kind of a who really knows. Where are they now in the verification dates? Don’t worry about it because there isn’t one thing you can do to hurry the process. Work on your secondaries so those are ready to go! Good luck this cycle!

If I just had my app enter the verification queue because of the transcripts delay...how many weeks do you think verification will take? The full 8 weeks ?
There is a separate thread tracking submission vs verification. Please review that thread. Looks like verification is currently at ~3 weeks.

I just copy pasted from the AMCAS website...

I am in the same boat and really feeling helpless. Everything on my primary is done, just waiting for my transcripts to be "received." It's killing me.

I suppose we just pre-write secondaries in the meantime so that the actual submit date isn't later than it would normally be?

Yes transcript receipt dates are totally beyond your control - only thing you could have done is probably requesting those transcripts way earlier. Anyways, right now, best is to pre-write secondaries. Good part is after July 10th, applications will be released to schools as soon as verification is complete.

Unfortunately, there was no one even staffing one of my schools. They were just sending out unofficials in the meantime, so it wouldn't have even mattered. I am going to prewrite, though, and that is a good point!
