Verification/Transcript question?

Hi guys,

Soooo I took an English course at my local community college last summer and sent the transcript in. The thing is I was in an orchestra like 10 years ago in middle school and it included in the transcript because it was registered under that community college. I obviously did not put that in when I submitted my application but after verification, the orchestra grade was put in there and it actually counted toward my cumulative GPA??? Is this okay and all, would schools be like why is there a high school grade in there? I just wanted my English grade in there, I don't know why they put my orchestra grade in there. 😵

You are obliged to report and provide transcripts for all college level coursework taken, even if it happened in Middle School. You will see Middle School and HS specified in the AMCAS directions.

Did you get an actual grade for that class or would it just be put on as Pass/Fail?

Pass/Fail doesn't matter. If it's an actual grade that doesn't hurt you then let of be. If anything it'd be an AAMC problem. You can always call them if you're deeply concerned.

I got an A, I completely forgot I had the class lol. Also, AMCAS went ahead and added the course to my list of courses, so it should all okay right? I'm just very confused haha
