Vet blogs?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I think she did get in though? Or I'm misreading her blog. If you go back about 200 posts (or 10 last 20 clicks) she's talking about her clinical rotations and stuff. Or I'm reading the wrong blog (Meepisms, right?)

No, it's "Road to vetmed: a future vet student's blog".

That one was... interesting. I especially loved "I do think it's cruel to keep a husky in Iowa. Even if sometimes it feels like winter is never going to end, we do have warm summers." Tell that to my GSD/husky, who has nice thick fur and who wanted to go for a billion walks in the 89-degree weather yesterday .

In any case, I'm another SDNer with a blog (http://futurezoovet.blogspot.com/) but I'll warn you it's full of ramblings. And I've been bad at updating it.

There are some great blogs in here! I read this guy's Tumblr: http://vetstail.tumblr.com/. He doesn't update super often, but he has interesting posts and pictures (some are graphic).

...well I'm dumb and originally put this on the Veterinary thread relating to vet student blogs but anyways....

I know this isn't a "vet school blog" but I have developed a passion (and pretty good skill) for baking cupcakes, and this semester I started a baking blog. Technically it's related to vet school simply because it's my stress reliever and subsequent self-esteem booster ;P

Anways, the address is:

http://thefeistybaker.wordpress.com/.

Its honestly pretty legit, if you're into baking, or want to get into baking. I basically just share my recipes and how I crank out the treats that I do... so if anyone cared, just thought I'd share. Had nothing to do today so I spent about the last 2 or 3 hours writing posts from recipes I'd been accumulating yet too busy to put up.

That would the the illustrious and wonderful Pomona2006! :)

Wow...illustrious and wonderful...never thought I'd ever be described like that! ;)

But seriously, thanks for the support! It means a lot to me and helps keep me going!

I am so behind on the blog between school and photography - I feel horribly about that (but I'm being much better about posting on facebook!) I'll be doing my very best to keep things up during 4th year and after graduation! (speaking of which...where has the time gone?!?!)

Good luck everyone, don't hesitate to drop me a question through the blog email! :)

I checked out this blog when I first started to apply!!! I love it!

just finally updated my blog. going to try to start doing it at least 3x a week. today's posts are nothing exciting/new to the SDN community

Are there any large animal/production animal vet blogs? I know it's probably pretty unlikely that many exist, but I thought I'd ask.

I have a blog, but it's devoted to my flock and has lots of ramblings on breeding decisions and lambing and fleece and color genetics. I have been meaning to update it but probably haven't for months. I was going to spend a lot of time discussing sheep medically, but oh well.

Maybe if I have some more time later I can work on that.

Finnsheep I'd like to read about yours- I don't know too much about sheep.

Mine is http://prevetchronicles.blogspot.com

I do most of mine about my daily life- so it's not too exciting. In the past I blogged a lot about equine ride-alongs (and I'm sure there will be some more of that in the future), and currently about my experiences at a small animal clinic. Hoping to get into some food animal shadowing sometime this year. I'm not a fantastic writer, but I enjoy it.
