If my school hosts a special Olympic for a day out of the year every year, and I happened to volunteer there twice, do I put that on my resume or app?

Or should the volunteer hours that I put down need to be something that I am doing consistently?

With the special Olympics case i'll have about 15 hours for the two times and i'll also have an additional 10 or so from volunteering at a horse center near my school (again, once a year and I did it twice).

An additional 25 may not seem much to some of you, but I currently only have 75 clinical volunteer hours so anything adding to my profile will be beneficial, I feel.

Edit: Another question. Would being a volunteer coach of a local baseball team (kids league) be a good way to get non-clinical volunteer?

Maybe have it all in one category under in volunteering similar to how people pool their shadowing into 1 entry?

i dont know if this is the best advice so id wait for others to chime in

This seems reasonable.

I had a list of like 5 different 1 or 2 day commitments that I listed as "Various non-clinical volunteerism" or something like that. For the contact info, I listed the one that I had the most hours, and then I gave the rest of the contact info for each one in the description. It was pretty tight character-wise to fit everything in, but worked out.

Will listing the coordinator from my school for these events be the contact info be fine? Or do I have the list the contact info for each of the organizations

I'm not sure I'd count them as clinical hours. Sounds like service to the community/nonclinical would be a better descriptor.

Definately not clinical hours. I meant to say anything (non-clinical hours) added to my 75 (currently) clinical hours would be beneficial. I never planned on listing those as clinical hours because I know they are not.

@candbgirl I reread what I wrote and I think I might of came off as an ass. I apologize of that was the case and I certainly didnt mean to. I was just agreeing that it is not clinical hours and I was aware of that.
