I took virology and at my university, it was offered by the biology department (prefix was BIOL). Would this be considered a biology class or "other science" on my application?

If the prefix was BIOL, then yes it counts as a biology course.

Sounds like an upper-level bio class to me, so definitely BCP

Just because your school labels it under the biology department (therefore BIO) does not mean the ADEA counts it as a bio class.

e.g. Animal science or plant science you'd think would go under Bio (unless your school has a Botany major/department), but is considered "Other Science" and not part of BCP.

I'd refer to http://www.adea.org/dental_educatio...ocuments/2011 ADEA AADSAS Course Subjects.pdf

They don't have virology but it should fit under "pathology" or "microbiology," so yes in this case it is a Biology.
