So my premedical committee is finally done with everything and told me that they will input everything tomorrow.

My question is that how long does it take for medical schools to get my letters after it's uploaded?

I have some schools that have deadline in few days and was just wondering if 3-4 days will be enough time...

Especially for VCU, it says 7-10 days for processing but is it for snail-mail letters or is it same for virtualeval?

Thanks!

My school's PHP office uses virtualevals. It's like an email system so I think the schools get it fairly quick but they may or may not download them right away.

a few schools that I had already sent in secondaries for marked me complete the day after my premed office placed my letters up.

the initial scanning of the letter(s) takes a few days. but once they are up on the server its like an email

A message from the VirtualEvals [vE] System

Note: If you have any questions, please contact your advising office directly, not the administrators of VirtualEvals. Please do not reply to this email address.
Your letter(s) have been posted to VirtualEvals by your advising office and are now available to the health professions schools to which you are applying that are using VirtualEvals. Each health professions school follows an established procedure to let applicants know if their file is complete. It is the applicant's responsibility to follow that procedure. While VirtualEvals is more efficient than snail mail, it may take several days for receiving schools to record receipt of your letters in their own database. In addition, we have found that some receiving schools opt not to download letters for applicants who have been screened out prior to reading the letters.
You indicated that your letters should be provided to the following schools that accept letters through VirtualEvals. Check this list carefully against the list of schools to which you are applying. If there are discrepancies, you must let your advising office know immediately. For MD/PhD applicants: some programs access VE directly and thus will be listed below. However, most programs receive letters through their MD admissions office and thus will not be listed separately. In order for your letters to be accessible to MD/PhD programs, you must make sure your advisor knows that you are applying to those programs.

The following schools are NOT using VirtualEvals. If you are applying to any of them, refer to information you received from your advising office regarding how letters for those schools will be processed by your advisor.
MD programs not using VE:
University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
UCLA
UCSF
U Puerto Rico
U Central del Caribe
* U Missouri Kansas City
* Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Med
* these schools take primarily high school students intoBS/MD program

DO programs not using VE:
Michigan State U College of Osteopathic Medicine
New York College of Osteopathic Medicine
NOVA Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine
OPT schools not using VE:
Northeastern State University
Inter American University of Puerto Rico (IAUPR)
Ohio State University
Southern College of Optometry
Pennsylvania College of Optometry
University of California -Berkeley
New England College of Optometry
Pacific University
Michigan College of Optometry - Ferris State University
Nova Southeastern University
University of Houston

i dont see a list?

You should definitely check up with your premedical advisor.
I got the same email but mine has the list.

Hope things work out for you!

THanks for bringing this to my attention. I didnt look at the list when I got the email from Virtual Evals, but when I went and looked at it right now, they mixed up a school with one that I didnt apply to.
