I know that there are other people on the forum whose schools are using VirtualEvals. My school is giving us the option - I can either have them use VirtualEvals for schools that will accept it, or have them all sent by snail mail. I know that some schools (GW and Case) are supposedly having problems downloading the letters - would it be easier just to have them all sent by snail mail? Is there anyone who had all of their letters sent our successfully using VirtualEvals? Thanks.

worked awesome for me, i was complete so quickly! i think if schools are having their own trouble, they will work to fix it quickly bc otherwise it will wreak havoc on their timeline. i suggest going with virtual...

also worked fine for me. many schools already had my LORs before I submitted.

I'll also vouch for virtual evals, I'm complete at most of my schools because of it. Also, Case Western seems to have dowloaded mine okay.

DarkFark - did Case say your app is "complete" after d/ling the virtualevals? i see that they just got mine but I'm still not "complete". Hopefully it's just a matter of waiting, and I don't actually have to submit anything else. Thanks!

Personally, Virt Eval was a NIGHTMARE for me. Although I can't really say for snail mail (since letters get lost all the time), on the most part, it seemed to be okay.

Although it may seem like I might be at a disadvantage at GW and Case because my letters weren't downloaded until 3 weeks after I submitted my secondaries.

Your call. They fixed the glitches, so if you're about to submit, I would go with Virt Eval.

VE is nice because letter packets are available so early. however, i share the sentiment that some of the schools are downloading them waaaaaay after secondaries have been submitted which leads me to think that submitting the secondary so early was worthless??? i've tried to follow up with schools but many of them don't seem to understand what i'm asking... i think once the program gets all of the bugs worked out of it, it'll be great. too bad that wasn't this year...

for anyone also applying DO, it's been a nightmare...
