The premed advising dept. at my school sends out letters of recommendation to schools via Virtual Eval directly to the schools. However, with the new AMCAS letter service, I feel like some schools will only accept letters through AMCAS. Does anyone know if I should be concerned with my ugrad getting my letters to all the schools I select? They told me that all I have to do is give them my list of schools and they'll take care of it, but they also weren't aware of the new AMCAS letter service when I last spoke with the head.

114 med schools are using amcas, you need your school to send the LORs to AMCAS, and then the schools who are not using amcas, you will need to send them the letters via virtual evals. Your school can not send LORs directly to schools who are using AMCAS as that is the only service they will accept. Your school can send letters via virtual evals to amcas.
