Visa for NBDE

Hi guys! I got my Visa approved for the NBDE exams. Am still a dental student in an international dental school.
I plan to give the exam in March! What should i tell the Immigration? Should i tell them i came to give the NBDE exams?
At the embassy i told them i was going to give the exams

If you were issued a visa based on telling them the truth why do you want to change it at port of entry? you should always tell them the truth; you will be fine. good luck with your exam.

Tell the truth. I don't think it's a crime to attend exam on visitor's visa.
