HEllo All,
I wanted to ask you all, what type of visa is required for Canada residents, coming to US for interviews?
All the help is much appreciated.
Thanks. 🙂

You will need a visitor visa B1/B2. Apply as soon as you can. The background check usually takes 6-8 weeks, some unfortunate cases took 2 years!

Hello, That would be too late for me, can I apply for any other visa type? like regular visitor visa, like i heard it can be issued within a day.. or do we have to apply for b1/b2??.. any other suggestion is most appreciated...

The regular visitor visa is B1/B2 🙂.

I might be mistaken about the background check. There is no long background check for visitors. Your visa can be issued a couple of days after your interview at the consulate, but getting an appointment would take 4-6 weeks.

A good thing to do now is to check for appointment availability on-line right away.
