So I set appointment with an admission advisor of UOP and for a school tour.
Although its just a tour and talk with an advisor, I'm nervous...

What I'm worried is that although I have passion and interest, I'm very passive person, meaning I'm more of the observer and then think and then question later. So my point is, I'm worried that I might not have that much questions during tour or anything, just b/c of my personality. Is that ok?

Is wearing casual during tour ok?

Any advises on this? Thanks in advance

Whats this meeting about? Are you improving your academics?

Please make a list of questions you want to ask. Don't be too casual. Will you be there by yourself or in a group?

I'm meeting with an advisor to talk about my progress (yes academic improvement) and the suggestion about postbac programs. I'll be there by myself.

Are you going to get to talk to someone from admissions? Are you traveling from out of state? I really want to set up something as well to see about my low gpa, but I'm from Florida and I don't know if it would be beneficial to make a trip there.

Set up a phone appointment with the person.

Dress nicely, look professional, act serious. Ask him the post-bac programs that will help you to gain an acceptance in the school. Ask about your ECs and other stuff to be competitive applicant for their program?

good luck man! UofP has a really nice 3 yr program.

Thanks for your input flyingforever and others as well. I guess this is common sense but for those who are thinking of traveling to sf by yourself w/o having relatives or friends there. Book your flight/transportation ahead and hotel/motel/hostel weeks ahead. It's been a while since I went traveling by myself w/o a car and now I'm in a situation where my returning bus is sold out for the night and have nowhere to stay ahahahah🙁 lol....
