Finally, no more "training"

It finally happened; my 20D has a small crack in it after who knows how many times it's been dropped. It's still serviceable but it's getting annoying to the point where I'm looking at new lenses. My attendings in clinic use a Digital ClearField lens for indirect ophthalmoscopy, and I've used them a few times. They seem great, but they're a bit pricey. What are people's thoughts on using them compared to a 20D or 28D lens?
