So I am volunteering at the free clinic in my town, and I have a choice between three positions:

-Client Services: basically doing secretary work at the front desk
-Pediatric Reader: reading to the children in the waiting room
-Pharmacy Assistant: helping out in the pharmacy

Which of these do you think would be most beneficial for my application for medical school?

Thanks!

I have no idea which one is better on a resume.

I can, however, tell you which one sounds most enjoyable.

Reading to children sounds more rewarding by a wide margin than clerical work. It also sounds like it would be more interesting to talk about if asked about your experiences.

pediatric reader position sounds best.. that way in a prospective medical school interview you can always state how the experience helped you understand more about pediatrics field and fostered your interest in that particular field.
