I've been stressing heavily over my lack of volunteer commitment throughout undergrad. I've recently begun to volunteer more this semester in preparation for the upcoming cycle. I can obtain 100+ volunteer hours this semester alone, but my fear is that it would be viewed as a lack of commitment or cramming, because I do not have any activity I've been committed to for more than a semester. Bascially, would it make a significant difference if I had, say, 100 hours of a single activity over the course of 1 semester or if I hypothetically did those same 100 hours over the course of 2 years? I do have 40-50 hours of an activity from my first semester of college, but that was also only 1 semester, so I'm unsure if I should include that as well.
Edit: I didn't have any extenuating circumstances that prevented me from doing a lot of EC's.
