Hi All.

I have a question regarding my volunteer work. Last summer i worked as an unpaid intern and worked to get two papers published during my time at a local clinic. On my AMCAS i have it listed as research, but can i also list is as medical volunteer work? I wasn't sitting behind a desk all day, i was calling patients to discuss injuries, maintaining EMRs, and involved in many other parts of the daily operations at the clinic.

No, since the activity labels are selected from a drop-down list you may only choose one for each activity. Just make it clear in your activity description that it was a clinical volunteer position as well.
