Does volunteering, not pharmacy related, but just volunteering somewhere doing something have much of any affect on the chances of getting an interview or being accepted?

Volunteering is volunteering.. no matter if it is pharmacy related or not. It will show the admission committee that you are active in your community. It will definitely not hurt your chances. 🙂
