Oh yay, Hillary is slightly more favorable but still has an overall negative percentage as does Trump. What's your ****ing point?? We all know these two suck, but you're looking at Feb 2016 QU polls that don't matter in May 2016 or beyond.

It's the system. When it costs 600 million to get elected as POTUS, there is no way anybody clean can make it.

Not everyone went around trumpeting about being "self-funded" or taking only "small donations"
Trump was taking small donations and providing his own funds and made it a huge part of his debates, just like Sanders has been doing on the Democratic side. To then take big business/donor funds for the general election is a hypocrisy and I'd say the same if Sanders reverted as well should he somehow become the nominee.

If you want to really make a difference, you stick with your principles. Else you're no different than Hillary Clinton or Obama.

There are no principles at this level. There are only various levels of compromise.

If you want principles, wait for a normal electoral law, so that all candidates get exactly the same low amount of money from the treasury, they all get the same media time, electoral ads and contributions are illegal, and the campaigning period is limited only to a couple of months, like in better democracies.

Hillary is favorable amongst Blacks due to Bill Clinton's popularity amongst Blacks. It has nothing to do with Hillary herself.

Chfo has been stating for the last page that Hillary is also an outright racist supported who's supported by KKK grand dragons. If that's actually case, then your statement that she's popular amongst black people simply 'cause Bill' implies that you think blacks are unimaginably uninformed or just plain stupid.

The individual spread in trump favorability amongst those with college educations should be shocking to you even if that poll was five years old. Hillarys negatives aren't good. Trump has historic negatives that only come around every 50 years. It speaks volumes that the GOP masses are so dumb that they continually refuse to nominate someone who has a chance of winning a general.

Did anyone running for office on their side have a chance? The answer is NO.
Trump brings lots of voters in and I've said this before - in favor of and against him. But the turnout has been high on the republican side. Even Bernie doesn't generate as much turn out and not even close to what Obama had done.

I know this.
My issue is that you make it an issue for the nomination process but for the general election you do the opposite.

Not many know about Hillary's KKK konnections because the media doesn't report on it.

The media are some of the most dishonest people out there, and they're the ones that you trust to report on issues that affect their candidate negatively?

They didn't even want to report on her email scandal, but it was too big of a story to ignore, and even then, they're still biased in their reporting, downplaying the importance.

Trump's favorability only needs to change positively a few points, and Hillary's needs to be taken down a few points, and Trump will end up with the better favorability.

Nobody really knows about how Hillary destroyed the lives of the women that her husband Bill raped and sexually assaulted.

Hillary is a dirty, nasty person. All Trump has to do is shine some light on her past politics and dirty deeds, and her favorability numbers will plummet.

$34+ million in salaries and benefits.
$5 million paid out as actual charity.

$20+million for travel expenses!!!!

$2 million for IT expenses??

Not only does crooked Hillary not know how to run a country, she has no clue on how to run an efficient charity.

Here's a hint: try giving more money away as charity than you spend on salaries, like $600k to Chelsea.

You do realize that those were the public views at the time, right?

Hillary is then plainly guilty of being a white supremacist if she knowingly endorsed Margaret Sanger's vision, that of exterminating the African American race via abortion.

As has been said, crooked Hillary has a long and dirty past that the majority of Americans are familiar with. Hence, her untrustworthy numbers are sky-high.

The vast majority of Americans actually sees Hillary for who she is: a corrupt politician who skirts the law to serve her own personal interest.

You are deluding yourself by saying the majority of America is on your side. Hell, half the Democrat voting base disagrees with you! Take a listen at what Bernie and his supporters say about crooked Hillary, and maybe you will see her in a new light.
Did Bernie call her racist? Because that's what we're talking about. I've never heard reasonable people say she's a bigot.

I do think she's crooked, just like every other Washington insider. I think she's an opportunist, and her speaking voice makes me want to stab myself in the ears. But if you think she's s bigot I think you're wrong and very prejudiced in your views of her.

Women across America are proving that they are well in tuned to the issues and aren't just voting for a candidate who is a woman. They are voting for who they believe is the best candidate according to their own ideologies and belief system. Bernie is definitely giving Hillary a run for her money in the women vote, and he should be.
Agreed

You do realize that those were the public views at the time, right? The reason Ivy League universities switched from an entrance exam to today's interview system, back in the 30's or so, was exactly because a lot of these "undesirables" got in on merit.

There is still no entrance exam, by the way, in America. 😉

P.S. Stop saying "crooked", because you just sound like Trump's mouthpiece or a bully, or both, and people will just stop having monologues with you. I don't like HRC, but I hate bullies.
Do you really think he educated himself on who exactly Margaret Sanger was and what she might have said or meant? No. He saw a meme/propaganda that fits what he wants to believe. Trump supporters are not interested in history/facts. Many Trump supporters actually say they don't care if he is speaking factually or not. You and I know that is a necessity to support him. He almost literally knows nothing about what's important and makes up the details to support what he wants his supporters to believe.

By Clinton's ''KKK connection" do you mean the late Senator Robert Byrd that was active in the KKK more than half a century ago and since then did about all he could to disavow that connection and raise money and awareness against the Klan? He even later received recognition from NAACP. That "KKK connection"? That same connection that definitely made media attention after Trump couldn't or wouldn't refuse support from David Duke (because of a bad earpiece, really? Despite he could hear and respond to the rest of the interview.) He knew him by name and disavowed him many years ago. But, sure, blame the 'media' because you know something everyone else doesn't about Clinton's "KKK connection."

Neither are 100% clean but I'm skeptical its a media conspiracy for/against either.

But if you want to go down the rabbit hole of media conspiracy, how about all the 'free media' Trump has received?

I would even come close to voting for Kasich (vs just sitting out Hillary v Kasich) in the general. My a dad (a retired rad onc and true independent who has gone back and forth between the big two vs third party candidate in the last 5 elections) would certainly be giving Kasich some serious consideration.

Trump needs independents in the general to win and it just ain't gonna happen

She supported Margaret Sanger's vision, she talked about needing to bring young African Americans "to heel" like they're dogs, she stereotyped and mocked "colored people" for being habitually late, etc. That's bigoted.

But she doesn't get called out for it, because she's a protected class, a Democrat.

So you're saying that Margaret Sanger didn't mean what she said, on multiple occasions?

His regret was joining the KKK, not because he wasn't actually a racist, but because he was a racist and didn't like the stigma associated with its membership.

Know who else was a FORMER grand dragon of the KKK?
David Duke.

He almost literally knows nothing about what's important and makes up the details to support what he wants his supporters to believe.

It's ironic, you're ignoring the facts, and claim the other side is ignoring the facts. Not surprising you're hypocritical about this, just like the politicians who voted for obamacare, but refused to actually be in an obamacare plan.

It's funny you'd bring that up considering trump still hasn't disavowed dukes support

Of course he didn't like the stigma associated with it. And why he worked so hard to get away from it. As opposed to David Duke saying not voting for Trump is "treason to your heritage."

Does it give you a headache that your blinders are on so tight?

Sounds like a case for the courts. But you know who is not running for President? Bill Clinton.

Yeah, except for the fact that Hillary enabled Bill's prior rapes and sexual assaults. Not a great record with women if you enable your husband's abuse of women!

It would be different if Trump praised a former KKK leader, unlike what Hillary did.

Remember, Hillary PRAISED a former KKK grand dragon.

But I'm the one with the blinders.

I don't know what else to tell you. I just hope you try getting some info beyond partisan speeches/memes.

There was a brief time when a good number of people did not see how ridiculous Sarah Palin was. That time is now for Trump. He can't mask his stupidity from the gullible forever.

I get my info from Trumps tweets and his 60 second dodge and insult answers to questions. The reason he could win is that he can dodge and insult Hillary forever. If he gives her the low energy Jeb! treatment and gets it to stick, he'll get some ground. I think she is a tired old lady.
He needs to put an army of private dicks on her 24/7 to catch her napping, zoning out, etc.

Oh you mean this praise?
"Senator Byrd was a man of surpassing eloquence and nobility. And I will remember him for many things, but most of all, for a heartfelt comment he made to me in the dark days following the attack on our country on 9/11. My state of New York was reeling and we were scrambling to provide support and relief. ‘Think of me as the third senator from New York,’ he said. And he meant it. Thanks to the leadership of Senator Byrd, who chaired the Appropriations Committee, New Yorkers and Americans got the help we needed. I will never forget his devotion and his friendship in that critical time.”

That praise that was spoken after his death in 2010, over 60 years after his time active in the Klan, about an event about 50 years after his time active in the Klan.
That same media conspiracy - you can find that quote and articles referencing it on 'liberal media' and Sean Hannity's website.

I'm not trying to say the late Robert Byrd was an always honorable, upstanding citizen who was a champion of everyone's rights. I never did say such a thing. But to condemn Clinton because she praised the man at his eulogy for his actions and response regarding 9/11, well, yeah . . . those are blinders that you've got on.

When he gets pressed by real interviewers and when he's in debates, he has to be able to do more than dodge and insult. I know his core supporters don't care if he knows absolutely nothing, but a lot of people on the fence will. Like many of them, I don't like Hillary. But it's already clear to me that Trump's stupidity and bigotry puts people in danger.
Many of his followers are already ignorant/poorly-informed. Then a "legitimate" politician like him comes along and says they're hatred/mistrust of minorities is well-founded. It is and would continue to be a horrible thing to happen to this country.

I'm pointing out the hypocrisy.

It's a leftist double standard: embracing and praising ex-KKK leaders is ok for Hillary, but constantly saying anyone on the right is a racist KKK white supremacist.

You don't hear about Hillary's support of Byrd or Sanger and think racist, but you hear the name Trump, and the media/Democrats/leftists immediately say "RACIST!!!"

Not very fair, and Americans are fed up with this crap, hence why record numbers of traditional Democrats have switched over to vote Republican and vote for Trump.

Trump is a political movement that is only growing stronger.

So you're a minority or woman. I'll have to take your word for it.
Minority
Feel free to not believe me

Just an outright falsehood, as y'all are prone to make.

How is Trump bigoted? Because he wants to secure the border and deport illegal aliens?

And the classic "stupidity" argument that was tried against Bush incessantly. Not going to work anymore, Americans are tired of the typical Democrat attacks.

Do you think someone who thinks there are 58 states in the United States of America is stupid?

Trump is not stupid. Based on how he demolished 17 of the Republican candidates, and garnered more votes in the Republican nomination than anyone else ever in history, I would say that he is brilliant.

Hillary will be very, very easy for Trump to take down. He already tore apart her "woman card" entitlement, and he will hammer on that, her corruption, her email scandal, Benghazi, ISIS, Syria, Iraq, Russia, China, her enabling of her husband's rapes, etc.

If you want to talk about dangerous, how could you honestly support a candidate who put our greatest national security secrets at risk for her convenience? How she has the blood of 4 Americans on her hands for her mishandling of Libya? How she handled the Iran nuclear deal? How she promoted the TransPacific Partnership that would ship even more of our jobs overseas? Her support for NAFTA which destroyed the middle class in America?

Hillary is the danger.

It's all memes when it comes to her homie.

A lot of people period are going to be disappointed in November.....or maybe real happy. Depends on your point of view.

Another example of how Trump folks don't care what he says, no matter how poorly informed or untrue. They just want to hear what they want to hear, and they eat it up. They are WILLFULLY ignorant.

Hillary Clinton speaks out about the issue every time she talks about international women's rights. Do a search, for god's sake.

Plus there's the bombing the sh1t out of them she's pushed, which doesn't exactly indicate that she supports their policies.

And she's not just vocal about "radical" Islam. She's made speeches about oppressiveness of women in "mainstream" islamic countries and how democracy won't thrive without women's rights.

She has not however commented on their t1ts or "fat-faces" or how important a good figure is, and she hasn't had an affair. Trump has, of course. But, again, I don't really address this to the Trump supporters. Reality is not part of the equation for them.

The only thing that these two idiots (Trump and Clinton) can affect is the SCOTUS. They both are moderate Democrats with more in common that you realize. But, SCOTUS is what makes the difference so if PGG votes for TRUMP I'll be more inclined to hold my nose when pulling the lever.

I'm not a TRUMP supporter nor will I vote for Hillary but the SCOTUS is on the line and that matters a great deal to me.

And you think a pseudo-liberal like trump will guarantee a conservative Scotus pick? Just in case no one has noticed, THE LIBERALS HAVE WON!All options are far left on most social issues. Actually, the most conservative option of the three is Hillary. The country has pivoted hard left. Scotus and Congress will head in that direction too.

A few days ago Trump released a list of his potential SCOTUS appointees. To be honest I haven't looked at them. This election I'm suffering from a certain degree of paralyzed depressed apathy.

I live in Virginia but I'm a California resident; my vote doesn't matter. Hillary Clinton will win CA by a landslide. I'll probably vote for Gary Johnson.

If I could vote in Virginia I don't know what I'd do. Probably vote for Trump. God I feel vile and nasty just thinking about it. What an embarrassing spectacle of a president he'd make.

But he might actually turn out to be a good SCOTUS appointer for libertarians. He's no Ted Cruz; unlikely to appoint an evangelical, or apply overturn-R-v-W litmus tests. He's unlikely to appoint someone who's anti-2A.

Maybe the best thing that'll come of this election is that both the Democratic and Republican parties will splinter and a viable 3rd party will emerge. That's probably a pipe dream though. Bernie's followers will eventually get in line behind Clinton (against Trump), and the Republicans will eventually all get in line behind Trump (against Clinton).

Not voting for him, but at least he has an age limit and doesn't hitch rides on the pedophile plane a couple dozen times.

I'm not voting for either of them, but it's funny how many degrees of separation are needed since afaik Hillary doesn't have any skeletons of a sexual nature. Trump himself actually being a sleazebag vs Hillary being married to Bill, and Bill being the one who flew with Jeffrey Epstein.

And just to clarify, I'm all for Trump or anybody else in America getting down and dirty with whomever they want in a consensual fashion- I just take offense to him hypocritically flipflopping to an anti-gay, anti-choice platform since from his previous interviews, and past/present behavior, those are certainly not his true feelings on those matters.

Not being alive during watergate doesn't mean you can't read about why she was fired from her position as counsel. Not to mention her business wheeling and dealing with the Walton family, whitewater, witness intimidation against her husband's rape accusers and now a terrible legacy as secy of state, including the murder of a few good men.

Also, I'm pretty sure I know what my SO is up to. And if I found out they flew on a jet 26 times where a known pedophile was busted offering up little girls for pleasure... I wouldn't be married anymore. And I certainly don't want someone for president who condones that crap.

Actually, Hillary does not bring up the deplorable treatment of women in Islam much at all, which is why Trump's tweet is so effective against her.

Trump has been beating crooked Hillary in the last several polls . She doesn't stand a chance when her crap record is exposed.
